Can I ask a stupid question?
How does the left decide on which issues, and which places, to have meltdowns and call for boycotts and such?
Many other states have these laws. As does the federal government. The federal version of this law was cited in the Hobby Lobby case, so we know these laws are constitutional.
Until late last week, the left never said anything about these religious freedom laws. Or took any action against the other states with these laws. Why is it that right now, and only against Indiana, that good liberals are supposed to be outraged and have a meltdown over this issue at this place at this time? Why wasn’t it an issue before?
It’s happening now because it’s a convienient pretext for advancing the narrative.
I have found that when we have stories like this....the liberal hysteria stories.....we usually get a teeny little story out that the Obombo Administration has done something they need cover for.
Its a conservative state and they finally see these laws as a threat to what has always been their true goal which is absolute dominance of the culture all the way down to its roots. The history of leftist movements worldwide has been clear. They have no desire to coexist. There is a reason why they have a respect for Islam.
They desperately need to hold on to the White House in 2016, so they have to motivate their base and the millenials to vote Democrat.
The other laws and the federal law prevent the government from interfering with a person's right to practice their religion. The Indiana law goes a step further and prevents indivudals from interfering with another person's right to practice their religion.
