I like the Windows 7 GUI but the GUI for 8, umm, to put it politely, leaves a lot to be desired.

However, under the hood, the AD management tools for Windows 8 are amazing.

I like the Windows 8 GUI better than on 7. Much better. Only minor thing is to add a start button via the download “Start 8” Talking laptops and desktops of course! :) Windows 8 touch screen devices are not on me radar. They are irrelevant to me.

With that start button so I can bypass the tiles/apps..... I am good to go and I like it!!
