The more I study this incident, THE LESS I’M BUYIN’ IT.
I can’t copy this, tried.
It’s a twitter thing:
Andreas Lubitz shared Spruche BOX.’s photo. (the “u” has two dots over it)
Photo of Moslem cleric/imam with beard, robe, skullcap, and some text in German, date Nov.6. I can’t see the images on Firefox but I can on Chrome. Comment 213.
So, he re-locked the door which the pilot unlocked because he was passed out?
Lucianne has two articles up now on the front page alluding to the depression during flight training. Discrepancy in the year of leave from flight training, whether it was 08 or 09, I’ve read it both ways, but evidence leads to depression for the moment.
Whether it was made known to the flight trainers or anyone else, I don’t know. I didn’t read through all of it.
He may have been trying to take out a particular person who was opposing Islam. He obviously had a plan.
I think they should look at the Americans on board (particularly the woman who was the aviation intelligence analyst) and see if there was some kind of AQ or IS fatwa out on any of them. The copilot had trained in the US, so he might have known and hated some of these people.
Also, I think we’re going to see less and less of the Allahu Akhbar screaming, because that makes it too obvious and they’ve realized it’s bad publicity.
It was when he was 21 and had just started that he had the “breakdown,” so that would have been in 2006 or so (he was 28 at the time he brought down the plane).
They retested him and readmitted him to the training.
Please check the linked image and tweet.
The pilot was no doubt a moslem.
Also interesting is that his family lived in Marseilles (tons of moslems there) and immediately left after the crash. I did not read whether authorities knew where they had gone or not.
Didn’t see the photo. Where was it?
I’m sure they’ll find out that this guy was a Muslim “semi-convert,” that is, he had a Muslim parent, probably his mother, and decided to go back to his roots, shall we say.
The family was living in Marseilles and he doesn’t look German - but could easily be Algerian or Turkish. So there may be some other influence in his family.
They live near Bonn. They were only in Marseille because that’s where the airline was assembling the families of the deceased. They left because of the revelations about their son.
Seeing that photo made me think that he could have saved a lot a lives if he’d jumped from that bridge instead.
I thought the same thing. And chalk it up to my own conclusions, but I find that many homosexuals, especially those with killer instincts, don’t really care if they kill others while trying commit suicide.
I tried copying and pasting by every method I know (two) and I could not copy that twitter image, I wish I could. People should check the link I posted above, from another website.
Oh - duh - I just realized the twitter link is posted too, here it is, you can get it directly at twitter:

OOPS - been taken down. I tried searching twitter with his name, and there doesn’t seem to be an account for him. Hmmm. So I don’t know. The screenshot of it is here, posting that link again:

Also on the thread above, apparently the image from twitter was seen on FB:

But that appears to be “unavailable”.

That makes sense. As per usual, the details are all over the place and off the wall. Dates of leave for the depression are a turkey shoot. It’s a case of “pick one”.
Certainly appears he was in good shape to be able to pass the rigors of the German psych exam, reportedly the best in the business, as well as accumulated flight tests. He slipped through.
I think there must be something to the opinion that pilots don’t want to report depression, especially recurring depression due to the automatic removal from piloting. They may not even treat it, for fear of exposure. A catch 22, because no one wants them flying.
Did you see the image of him recommended the imam?
Did you click the link above:

He had a history of depression, and was engaged to be married to his girlfriend.
