My sister and her family live in the Shores and they go downtown all the time for hockey games and dining. They absolutely love it down there...........

As a side note, a black friend of mine who worked in my plant as a jig and fixture builder owns a restaurant downtown...as well as a number of hair styling salons throughout Detroit.

My neighbor’s grandson lives in Mexicantown and was out here with some NJ transplants he works with at Quicken. They were out here to do some long distance shooting.

The Jersey boys said that they had never held guns before landing in Detroit but after seeing neighbors walk around armed they lost their fear of guns.
