How do you get out of having to sit next to your wife when she watches that stupid show? That's not fair.

If I head for the basement when that show comes on, my wife starts whining about not spending time with her. So I have to suffer and keep my mouth shut. And often times it's very difficult not to squawk about some of the contestants.
