I just down loaded OS-X Yosemite and had to upgrade iPhoto and a few other programs.
It's quite different from what I had.

I cannot lose the Adobe CS2 apps which run under SN, and cannot afford to upgrade to current versions. AAPL is no help when trying to go from SN to 10.10. May not be possible.

I decided not to upgrade to Yosemite since I don’t have any iOS devices to use with it, and don’t plan on getting any. I weighed the options of what it would offer me, and decided I’m perfectly happy with keeping 10.9.5 on my MacBook Pro.
