Gee, my observation is just the opposite. Children who are whipped and cruelly punished are the ones likely to grow up to be psychopaths.

I’m not talking about unnecessary beatings, nor am I speaking of abuse. I am talking about corrective punishment. Even just spankings are better than letting your kid grow up to be a spoiled brat who wants to harm others to get his own way.

Oh, spare me! When I was a kid (in the 70s), I knew darned well that if I misbehaved, I would get a switching or a spanking. So did every other kid I knew. Somehow we all survived it, and it didn't screw us up.
