I think they tried open season on the things and it turned out a disaster as far as snake count. Buggers are very difficult to find when they don’t want to be.

You could call the Snake Hunt’ a disaster but the concept of hunting was successful, as it was made a public spectacle. Even the anti-hunting libtards were Ok with it.

Yeah it doesn’t hurt but allowing the hunting of invasive species is seldom the fix some claim it will be.

That said, adding some commercial profit would probably help. I wouldn’t have any problem ordering snake in a restaurant.

The Air Force ran a research program in Guam with ‘aspirin’ mixed into dead mice. Snake ate the stuff and died. The issue from the experiment was that you needed to put the aspirin within a food source (dead mice) and litter the field. You could do the same thing in the everglades.
