Artists of all stripes should learn to leave politics out of their public persona. As soon as they reveal themselves they lose 40% of their potential audience.
But libs can’t help themselves. They feel a deep inner need to use their power to communicate with people to try and tell them what they should think.
Natalie Maines didn’t have to get political but she chose to..no one else. She has to live with the consequences.
I no longer watch movies with Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts, Tim Robbins, and a whole host of others who decided to promote godless socialism at the expense of Americanism.

You should take it one step further as I did in 1970. I have never been inside of a movie theater or paid to see a movie since then.
My rationale: Even though the so-called ‘star’ may be conservative, somewhere in the cast or crew is a diehard, communist b*tch! I refuse to help pay for their exorbitant, out-of-control salaries.
I think that what happened to the Dixie Chicks did sink in to a lot of other groups. On the other hand, groups like Zac Brown and Rascal Flatts are openly patriotic and they are still going strong.
