Not a Reds fan. They beat the Yanks in 76...no destroyed them...and I’m a huge Yankees fan. BUT. The Reds deserved it. What a great team the Big Red Machine was back in the day. And Pete Rose was friggin fantastic....Charlie Hustle.....never be another like him.
I remember going to see the Reds a few times when they came to Wrigley Field. There was one sign someone made that I always remembered “A Rose by any other name would still smell.”
