In early versions of a March 15 story about a man being charged in the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri, The Associated Press erroneously reported that St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch said the defendant used a 40 mm gun in the attack. He said it was a .40-caliber gun.

Yeh I second that emotion. The story is he got lucky because the cops were all bunched up. Funny how the rounds just happened to miss the body armor.
I don’t know if its been addressed yet but whats up with a .40 cal hitting one cop a glancing blow? That would be more like a .22. A .40 call is going to blow your head off.
I wonder if the ballistics has come back yet?
Not sure of the ammunition used but a 40 caliber is hard pressed to have 300 ft-lbs at the range they’re talking about.
