I know a guy who was in the first Gulf War. He and 3 other guys in his company were in a humvee and had what he claimed was an entire Iraqi battalion surrender to him!

This is a little off topic of Sgt. York, but did anyone happen to catch the series on NetFlix about WWI? It was in 8 parts. It was wonderfully done, IMHO. I enjoyed it so much. It combines re-enactments with amazing real footage plus narration explaining about the larger picture of the war and voice actors reading from real people’s diaries:
