4 year old 11 inch MacBook Air here. Love it! Minimal problems. Did have some streaming issues. Finally figured out it was due to all the new traffic on my ISP's node. Anyway, bought new Arris SB6141. Streams 8 channels down instead of 4.

I run sometimes as many as 4 devices off this little laptop. Carried it through airports early on. The hammer-monkeys at TSA could not destroy it. When my big desktop went out, I slid the little 11 inch Air in. All is well. Use iPAD for travel. Love the clarity of the screen on that product!

My MacBook Air, also 11”, has been carried to the Himalayas, in my pack on my back and performed flawlessly as long as I kept it in my sleeping bag at night. Otherwise, at sub-zero temperatures it would not boot up. I have dropped it on accident twice from four and five feet, onto granite, and nothing more than a scratched finish was the damage! The only regret I have is not getting the 13” version.

Also, the month after my purchase the next version was released, with the backlit keyboard.

When I bought it I installed Win7 on it because I was unfamiliar with OS X, and I was afraid to completely give up Windoze. After six months of learning the Apple way I deleted the windoze partition and will never touch a windoze box again.
