The shooting occurred about two blocks north of a college where I sometimes teach in Orlando (will start a class Tuesday night). It’s not in the “poor section” of town per se, but the corner where it occurred has a bunch of fast food restaurants and a Goodwill.From there north on Orange Blossom Trail you won't want to be out after dark.
