Good morning, everybody! I thought that this was a good way to remind ourselves, no matter what is piled on top of her, America will rise again.

I am a bird freak.. Thank you!
I sure hope her eggs are not frozen. I sure hope not!

She can’t leave the egg to freeze.. Will her mate bring her a fish or rodent? How do they obtain food in all this snow? So many questions..

I've been watching these beautiful birds for a couple of weeks now and they've done well in some mighty crummy circumstances. Been a harsh time to brood eggs but they persevere.
I was horrified Sunday afternoon when I checked on them and saw one parent stuck to the nest. Freezing rain was coming down and apparently the bird sat still too long. It was straining to get up but couldn't.
But when I checked back the next morning, all was well. The bird was in a different position and seemed just fine. WHEW!
I got a nice screen cap a little while ago of "shift change". Both parents on the nest, one standing up getting ready to take off and the other ready to settle on the eggs.
Looking forward to seeing fuzzy little eaglets in the nest soon and watching them grow!
And hoping this is the last hard hit weather-wise.
