What I find funny is that when I try to find out what health insurance would cost me (for tax prep reasons - we have no insurance) it is IMPOSSIBLE to get accurate info without giving someone a phone number so they can call you.
Which couldn't be done on line OR the internet using my card ... but they WILL take your bank routing number and ....
I stopped her (actually it was about three "hers" over the time) and explained that there was no one on the planet that advised a person to give up personal banking information, so I was told I could write and mail in a check (I don't even HAVE checks anymore ! ), and it will be a week to ten days to process and THEN I will get a copy of the plan
I dropped the whole thing and I STILL get e-mails and occasional phione calls telling me I'm still eligible and it's not too late
Does it say that it has to be “your” phone number?

HA! I did on covered california site, and gave my fax number, and fake info, rang off the hook for 2 weeks
