Parent: Weston teacher called my son 'rag-head Taliban'

A Weston parent urged the Broward School Board on Tuesday to fire a teacher he claims called his son a "rag-head Taliban.".

Youssef Wardani said Maria Valdes, who teaches French at Cypress Bay in Weston, called his 14-year-old son a Taliban four times in class last month.

"I want her fired," said Wardani. "As a parent I should not be spending my time in front of [the School Board], explaining to them what should have been done on Day One … My son is not a rag-head Taliban."

Why are they defending the teacher?

It could be that some are so filled with utter contempt and hatred for Islam and those who practice that foul belief that any insult is considered as a blow for freedom.

Taking everything as face value, if a teacher called my son such a disparaging name, I’d beat the living sh!t out of him. Replace “towel head Taliban” with “honky”, “nigger” or “wetback”;

Why? The teacher didn't say anything about honkys or wetbacks. No sense in pretending that she did.
