OK.
Wonder if Jeff Gordon is having 2nd thoughts on retirement. He still seems to have the “edge” it takes in qualifying and racing well.
I wish we could watch the race today. LVMS is one of my favorite tracks but our bags are packed....

Pole winner Jeff Gordon will start Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway from the back of the field after damaging his car in the closing stages of the final
practice session for the Kobalt Tools 400.
Danica Patrick spun her car exiting Turn 2 in front of Gordon, who did not have time or
room to react before his No. 24 Chevrolet run by Hendrick Motorsports incurred contact that
will force him into a backup car for Sunday’s 267-lap contest.

I noticed that there is no Pit 12 & 12A but have a 13???
(NASCAR Statistics)
How are pit stall's chosen? by qualifying results, the 1st choose their stall and so on.
If a car/driver has to go to the rear of the field before the start of the race due to driver change, backup car,
engine/transmission change, etc they do NOT lose their pit stall selection

In the airport terminal but thought I’d share some of my wife’s wisdom. She says two dogs (or cats) that have lived together for several years get cranky in their old age and it’s not uncommon for them to get into fights. FWIW. See ya’ll tomorrow, enjoy the race.
