7:30 Dragnet. May 3, 1953. Program #202. NBC net origination, AFRTS rebroadcast. "The Big Carney". Sergeant Friday is after "Red" and his wife who end a series of jewelry store robberies by heisting an $8000 necklace. See cat. #47080 for a network, sponsored version of this broadcast. 8:00 Gunsmoke. May 6, 1956. CBS net. "The Photographer". Sponsored by: L & M, Chesterfield. "Professor" Jacoby comes to Dodge to photograph "the violence of the west." Finding little action in Dodge, the "Professor" stirs up some excitement himself. The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on April 6, 1957. The system cue is added live.
