“Turn the other cheek” only applies to personal insults from personal enemies.
It in no way, shape, or form applies to nation-states or their citizenry and their responses to foreign enemies.
But when Jesus admonished us to turn the other cheek, and if our enemies still seek to kill us, all bets are off. We’re there now.
Our enemies are fair game now. May God have mercy on them.
