I just love the art deco style and the history of performers who have been in them.

They renamed the Masonic temple theater in Detroit the Jack White theater after Jack White paid big bucks to save it from foreclosure.

Glad to see it’s still in use. The pictures of the abandoned art deco theatre in Detroit are heartbreaking.

As gorgeous as the old theatres are, some of the newer halls can be amazing. This is Koerner Hall, an 1,100 seat house that feels like a much more intimate setting. Best acoustics I've encountered at any venue.
