I didn’t see that on the chart, but I know what you’re talking about. You’re referencing the entire USA GDP. And yes, that’s relevant in terms of the effect of Texas “overall”.
You wouldn’t see it on the chart. You would have to do the math from the underlying data :-)
And actually I just held Texas flat YOY. If I removed Texas alltogether from the data in both years GDP increases by 1.7% versus the 1.8% for all 50 states.
