I’m actually surprised Obama didn’t say the pledge of allegiance. The pledge was created by the progressives as a state worship tool. Originally the term “under God” didn’t exist. Rather than placing a hand over the heart, the right hand was placed in what we now consider a Nazi salute. (it’s really an old Roman salute)
Obama’s refusal to perform the progressive pledge of allegiance doesn’t bother me. However Levin makes a good point, you don’t fundamentally transform something that you already love.
Bill Richardson may be the only one in that photo that loves America...but then again, he is a democRAT.
