Vastly different from fifty years ago? Only someone who wasn’t around fifty years ago would say such a thing. There was television, computers, telephones, cars ....
If you want something vastly different, try the difference between 1910 and 1960.
Watch the TV series Mad Men to see how little has changed in the last fifty years. I don’t see the next fifty as being anywhere near as radically different as 1910-1960.

I’m 61 and have been a huge follower of technology and science fiction. I feel like I live in the future.
i.e. I strongly disagree.

LMAO
Seriously, you cite a TV show as an accurate portrayal of American life in 1965?
You weren’t around then were you?
LOL!

There were no PCs, no cell phones, no Internet, no Facebook, no amazon.com, no twitter, no cable TV, no ESPN, no Fox News, no gay marriage, no Simpsons, no Game of Thrones, no video games, no abortion on demand, no Super Bowl, most women were homemakers, you could buy a house on a single, average income, and Christianity still pretty much determined public morality. Other than that, nothing has changed.
