To: Lakeshark

It looks like the ice coverage is now 82.3% and tomorrow it is forecasted to be 85.4%. If it does make it to 85.4% tomorrow that will make it only a 6.8% difference between it and second place.

I was giving information about Lake Michigan, I see it every day. It’s definitely freezing up here, but the 85% figure is for the entire great lakes system. Lake Michigan itself is somewhere around 60% and it’s rising (it’s rare for the lake to go above 70%), it’s really cold here and supposedly will be for a couple of more weeks.
