When I was a kid, I loved “Mr. Wizard”. I have no idea why now but it was really interesting.

They began showing the old 1950s “Superman” a few weeks ago. It is really hokey and the special effects are bad even for the day but you know what?

I really enjoy watching it. The reason is the stories are good and so are the characters. In one of today’s episodes they showed a scene I had read about but wasn’t sure it really happened.

A guy fires six times at Superman and he stands there with his arms folded and just smiles. Then the guy throws the gun at him and he ducks.

I remember that "Superman" episode with George Reeves.

What channel are you watching the reruns on?

Hey, yarddog, I'm watching Superman too, aren't they great? Hokey , sure, but they have real stories and the actors all have nice, clear diction. And dig those classic cars! I want Lois Lane's car--I WANT IT!!!!!😍
