Lot’s of good songs on the thread, but my earliest memory is a song called “Tie me kangaroo down, sport”. I don’t know why, but I caught myself whistling it yesterday.

If you didn’t see the Beach Boys on the Mall in D.C. in the early 80’s, well I’m sorry.
Great times with great friends and 500 thousand patriots on the fourth of July.

    Mostly 70s.
“Who Loves You” by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and “Lido Shuffle” by Boz Skaggs are two of my favorites.

My earliest memory is sitting with a little record player listening to “The Blue Danube.” I love classical.

Most of the Beach Boys' stuff.
A lot of Beatles stuff.
James Taylor, Cat Stevens, the Carpenters.
Loved a lot of the Motown stuff too.
 Some Simon and Garfunkel stuff.
Later in life I wound up being friends with Denis Wilson's ex and their two kids. Another very close (perhaps best) friend was a dancer on the Monkees show and dated one of them.

That must be the time Nancy was defending them as wholesome.

I had a Star Wars album by the London Philharmonic, that I played over and over.
I was/am a pretty avid reader. ESPECIALLY space science fiction. I remember reading the Star Wars novel, while having the album playing, just to relive some of the emotion the movie tapped into.
As an aside, I was working on a job about 12 years ago or so. Programmable ringtones on phones were a new thing. One guy had the The Emperors Theme programmed in...
For his wifes number.

Polka party. Brings fond memories of family reunions we held when I was a kid. Still love the oompah today.
