I’m sorry but these people are freeloading idiots. Subsidies are welfare.

We should go to fee for service for medical care, with insurance only for catastrophic.

Look, if I spend $300 a week on groceries, and the government chipped in $250 for it, I’d think groceries were my right, after a while. They aren’t. I need to pay the growers and the truckers and the store for that peach. If you are visiting doctors and getting meds, and you are paying $1 a month, that isn’t fair.

I paid $1800 a month last year for INSURANCE, and most things after that were 20% up to me too. Basically I was paying for a bunch of freeloaders’ medical. What a chump. I’m out; I do Liberty Health Share now, obama raised my premiums to $2500 and I couldn’t afford it. But even with a religious health share, I pay $500 a month. You can’t expect medical care for free!!!

“We should go to fee for service for medical care, with insurance only for catastrophic.”

Exactly. That is the whole meaning of the word “insurance”. Does car insurance pay for oil changes? Does homeowners insurance pay for minor home maintenance?

Right on!

De-cartelize the market and the price of routine care will decrease

Because unless you actually have to seek medical assistance, you're throwing thousands of dollars away and getting nothing in return. If medical care is unfordable it is because it has unlimited incentive to be that way.
