This storm could be catastrophic to the Boston area. They have already received over five feet of snow over the past few weeks. They have also come up with a fancy name for this storm - Neptune.

Winter Storm Neptune.

Don't forget the below zero temperatures.

I am from Western MA, but I am in Northeastern VT tonight. They are talking about -25 tonight and record cold. I lived in VT for four years and I cannot imagine how cold it has to be to set a frakin’ record.

I cannot wait for this winter to end. If it ever does.

This storm could be catastrophic to the Boston area.

One of the things that makes it worse in Boston is the 50 by 100 foot property lots.

When you get windy snow a lot of it blows off the roofs onto the ground and street, and you actually have more snow on the ground that has fallen in the storm.

This is tough on the streets where cars are parked and snowplows can't clear the snow properly.
With small lots most cars are parked on the streets, since they don't all have driveways. - Tom

2 feet of snow last week here in Michigan. It is currently -2 F right now. I feel your pain.
