He was of one of "Lost Boys Of Sudan." As the story intro has it:
"36-year-old Sergeant Peter Kuch is one of the most dedicated and toughest soldiers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. But theres something that touches a soft spot in his heart every time he speaks about it America."
Not bad at all for a man who found his mother back in his old country.
Someone loves our country so much as he does deserves our salute, thanks and gratitude.

What a great story he knows more of the AMERICAN Expience that that POS in the White House I welled up too
"We the People" ain't just some ink scribbles on a hermetically-sealed parchment.
The Romney sons should take a look at this. The Sununu sons should do the same, as should the Burr sons, the Armey sons, etc. So many limp-Richards among our ‘leadership’ class.
And the “reporter” was most likely stymied as to what could anyone love about this country enough to make them cry? Well, I get choked up at the National Anthem and at Veterans Day parades too. As bad as it seems at times, no place better despite the lefts ongoing battle to turn it in to a 3rd world country.
This story could be repeated thousands— millions—of times. For me, my triggers are thankful children, grieving widows, and healing soldiers. If you haven’t been there, you have no idea of the powerful emotions inside those who have seen the elephant.
