Axelrod’s new book supposedly makes the revelation that Obama “misled” in 2008 when he said he opposed gay marriage. I doubt anybody was misled.

Well, it certainly isn’t, but these days gay jokes are very common. They would have been shocking in earlier times. But surely he would LOVE to see Brian in kneepads....
It tells me he has done it and not just once.
If Obama wanted to make a joke about asking Brian Williams for advice, he could have done so by placing the conversation in some other context. Instead, he chose the scenario of being in bed with Williams - literally - as the setting for his "joke." That's very interesting.
