You know...if you would actually read those words of Jesus, you would see that He is referring to the difference between YOU and ME (Gentiles) and the way the Jews were supposed to live under the Mosaic Law. He is not teaching “Christian Living 101”. Notice, He says, “...it must not be so with you.” The “you” He is speaking to are the Jews. His blood was not yet shed, and you were not yet grafted in as a Gentile (Eph. 2:11ff). Go read the whole story.
