My local branch B of A was sold to an east Texas Citizens National Bank, my account included, and it did NOT go smoothly. All good now but I wonder if maybe it was a good time to change.

Well whenever a bank, savings union, etc, is sold or absorbed by another, time to change! Rule of thumb is that if there are any increases in lending costs, mergers, or any other significant changes...change banks! A good rule to follow. Something is wrong if that happens.

If they are a takeover target, problems. If they can’t survive on there own, problems. Do the right thing and move to a local Credit Union and move away from the big banks.
