When morals are not taught in school, then "amorals" seem to find a home.

Morals were always taught to strengthen children's souls in order to resist evil.

But now, since morals are not looked on kindly by today's Bill Ayers-type educators, training the soul for a good character is not addressed.

Instead, a child is taught that their own feelings are paramount. So, care for the other person is not really taught.

Short way of describing this is to say that today's public education is teaching children how to be sociopaths.

Should it then be any wonder that some lone kids will decide to act on their lessons of selfishness?

This article is all over the place. Mostly a bunch of BS.
Most murders are committed by mentally unstable people. And due to political correctness and diversity, we can not lock these psychos up before they commit crimes.

I also think some of these events are driven by a fear of anonymity. It is so important for some people to be “noticed” that they’ll accept infamy if fame eludes them.

This article is good, but it should be self evident to every learned person. Sigmund Freud was an enemy of religion, especially moralistic Christianity. He stated desire was "To demolish religion [Christianity] with psychoanalytic weapons".

Sigmund Freud, like Friedrich Nietzsche, who strongly influenced him, hated God and Christianity. In his own book, The Future of an Illusion, Freud describes his "absolutely negative attitude toward religion [Christianity], in every form and dilution." With this viewpoint at the core of his thinking the psychoanalyst's resultant, perverted worldview baptized as natural the most hideously unnatural sins; sins condemned by every society as the most unholy and unthinkable… Freud damned as unnatural the Christian-based morality of Western society and sanctified the unholy and unthinkable inclinations of incest, cannibalism, and lust for killing.

“One researcher has argued that “modern society, with its emphasis on individualism and the pursuit of material happiness, fosters narcissism.”

Oh horseshit. The main problem with society today is there are no healthy boundaries for anything anymore.

I am not one to generally quote Chris Rock, but he makes a good point when he argues about “whatever happened to crazy.” This would do much to explain the situation. There might possibly be some underlying cause, but most likely it is just because a person is bat-s@#t insane.
