Well, you're the one who said: There is no “right” to have the rest of society be forced to maintain you.

At some point, a religious obligation kicks in to assist the destitute. It isn't secular welfare, but it there is something there.

That’s not what I’m talking about. Saying that there is a “right” to food means the socialist “right” that promotes indolence, and there is no religious obligation to help the obstinate. In none of the Judeo-Christian scriptures is any such “right” ever spoken of.
