Ventura sounds like a cartoon character even when he’s being serious. This may come from the many qualities of his voice being delivered in an exaggerated manner, as he learned to do while a wrestler. The volume, the clipped though baritone pitch, the growly texture, and thug dialect sound like a stereotypic tough guy or caped villain.
