Sounds divine. Love Alfredo. Only made it once, years ago. Alfredo fettuccine and veal piccata. Do not, repeat Do Not attempt to try the fairly new product - Ragu Piccata...yuck yuck yuck Same can be said for the new Cream Cheese sauce additives from Kraft. Tried one about two years ago and found it totally lacking.
The alfredo went on fettuccine. The protein was thin sliced chicken breasts sauted in a little olive oil, lemon juice and Marsala wine with crushed garlic and I threw in spinach at the end to wilt into the pan sauce. Oh, and I lightly seasoned the chicken with some white pepper too.
