Fifty Shades of Grey is banned in Malaysia as it's dubbed 'more pornography than a movie'

It's one of the most talked-about movies of the year. But fans hoping to see Fifty Shades of Grey in Malaysia will be left disappointed, as the on-screen adaptation of the book has been deemed unacceptable for viewing. The racy flick was due to have its official cinema release in the Southeast Asian country on February 12, but that has now been cancelled.

The actress who plays the gal in it said recently that she thinks the movie may turn out to be a stinker.

Otherwise it’s only a simulation.

Good for them! I wish our nation still had the decency to do that very thing. But no, we’re the source of much of such depravity in the world. I can sort of see Iran’s point in calling us the Great Satan nowadays. In this type of stuff, they’re right. We’re culturally disgustingly sleazy.
