I’m not seeing any link in the story to any reputable news organization. The original article links to the Examiner, which says Jarrett’s statements are “according to the Examiner’s anonymous source”.
What I would love to see is a link to the original Stanford University statement (or speech, or paper, or whatever it was).

I agree 100%. We should NOT advance this ALLEGED statement of Jarrett unless and until it is confirmed as having happened. There’s too much bull crap going around and we should not add to it — least our credibility be damaged.
