Another high dose of SQUEEE from South Africa.
The race was good. I thought of going to bed before American Pharoah ran, but decided I wanted to watch that stride of his once more.
He will never race again, but will be put out to stud for mega-bucks. That animal running was a thing of beauty, and I loved watching him pull ahead of the pack like he owned the track.
It was so beautiful, it still gives me chills to think about it.
