Hi Gefn,

The Poles close at 22:00h tonight, so there are no early indications until the 'Tweed Army' start to release the results.
If it was possible to do a write-in it would be Nigel Farage for PM with the local Tory incumbent for the local seat, but it doesn't work that way.
‘You’ Vote for your local incumbent and get the ‘baggage’ that accompanies him as his party leader.....Kamerov, in this instance.

The local council elections are at the same time, so chance for a little independent Conservative fun there! :)

So if I understand correctly, if you are a registered, say as a Tory, you must vote a straight Tory platform?, You can’t split and vote one Tory, one conservative?

Hmm, no write in?

It’s been years since I learned about Parliment, but I never learned about the elections other than seeing them on TV and in an episode of “Blackadder”
