That's actually the least of the problems.

Clones start from an aged group of cells. They're already senescing.

The challenge is to transfer memories. How do you do that?

If you can create clones, you should have advanced enough knowledge to control their age, in which case, you should be able to control your own, and you won't need a clone.

Oh give me a clone, a clone of my own,
but why would I need even that?
Just make younger cells,
and when the thing gels,
I'll take a long swim in the vat!

Um, I was being a smart aleck, but it is already possible to clone a human being yet we have not a clue how the soul is interwoven with the living body.
