a number of SF bookstores have gone out of biz in recent years.
it is apparently a low margin trade
and
people are not reading books (they’re too busy ‘having sex with restraints and electric sex toys’ in San Fransicko’s more profitable businesses - the hotels)
who wants to read about it at a bookstore when you can “Just Do It” at the hotel up the block?
this is patriotic. it increases the GDP statistics for Obama’s next “I And the Economy Are Wonderful” speech
