Yep, Belichick is pretty conservative. He’s gotten a bad rap. I mean, the head coach does not monitor individual footballs for goodness sakes. They have about fifty guys who are equipment managers water bottle squirting control guys, etc.

While I agree with you that this whole "deflate gate" is blown way out of proportion. The filming stuff from a few years back was underplayed and he richly deserved his nickname Bellicheat from it. The NFL I believe helped cover it up (by destroying all of those tapes right away) because they didn't want a full blown scandal.
