I didn’t make the headline.

If the US manipulating other countries’ elections and power structure is ‘ok’, then them doing it to the US is ‘ok’ as well.

Oh, yeah...we got the Puppet.

“I didn’t make the headline.”

Didn’t think that you did. I’m responding to the thread topic.

“If the US manipulating other countries’ elections and power structure is ‘ok’, then them doing it to the US is ‘ok’ as well.”

Where were you in U.S. History classes? Everyone and his dog among foreign countries have been “manipulating” U.S. politics and elections since long before there was a United States. The Soviet Union, Russia, the Russian communists, the Chinese communists, and the homegrown American communists have been infiltrating the U.S. Government since the beginning of communism in the early 19th Century. The United States has already had more than one socialist-communist Presidents not counting Obama.

You also need to understand that the Russian communists and the Soviet KGB didn’t just evaporate and go away in 1991. They reorganized and changed names to work more covertly until such time as they feel powerful enough to come back out of hiding and seize power again. While the Soviet Union occupied and controlled places such as East Germany, Poland, Byelorussia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Georgia, the Ukraine, and the other former Soviet Republics; their intelligence and secret police services compelled people to spy on everyone else around them. In the aftermath of the reunification of Germany, the seizure of the STASI secret police files revealed how the STASI forced about every fourth person in East Germany to spy on everyone and report their observations in dossiers on each and every person in East Germany. This pervasive presence of the Soviet Communist intelligence services in the lives of East Europeans illustrates a small measure of what has been going on in the Ukraine before and after the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union.

After the fall of the Soviet Union and the Ukraine gaining its independence from the successor Russian Federation, Ukrainian society remained heavily infiltrated with Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian communists who serve the Russian Federation’s former KGB intelligence services in one fashion or another. Under orders from Putin many of these Russian communist agents remain under deep cover within the leadership of the Ukraine and throughout the ordinary walks of life in the Ukraine. Some of these Russian agents have been sabotaging the Ukrainian armed forces and the Ukrainian militia.

With respect to the Ukrainian actions towards President Yanukovich, you need to recognize that Yanukovich is and always has been an intelligence asset working for Putin’s former KGB intelligence services. The man is a thug and convicted criminal, who benefited from the political mentoring provided by the former KGB intelligence services. He and the other ethnic Russians comprised the large majority of all of the Ukraine’s leadership. The ethnic Ukrainians dominated by these Russians have struggled for generations to rid themselves of these corrupt leaders who are now working for Putin’s degenerate form of Russian communism or whatever is succeeding it. The Ukrainians have been trying to use lawful means of bringing about reform, but the recent past history shows how Russian agents like Yanukovich with the assistance of Russian intelligence agents working from within the Ukrainian government have used massive vote fraud, kidnappings, torture, and outright murder to suppress the journalists, politicians, and ordinary Ukrainian citizens, ethnic Russian and ethnic Ukrainian, who got in the way of Putin and his puppets like Yanukovych.

So, it is rather ironic to see you object to the U.S. making some extremely half-hearted and weak efforts to peaceably broker a settlement within the framework of Ukrainian constitutional law in accordance to the Budapest Memorandum, yet you make no such distinction about the direct Russian efforts to overthrow the sovereignty of the Ukrainian people with contempt for the Budapest memorandum and just about every norm of international diplomacy and civilization.

“Oh, yeah...we got the Puppet.”

Yes, but whose? Putin, the Muslim Brotherhood, Soros, all of the above, none of the above?
