The NFL is ruled by marketers. Apparently they think it useful to pander to the liberal female set. Maybe they think they will get more female support this way. Who knows. Just ignore it and enjoy the game.

The NFL is ruled by marketers. Apparently they think it useful to pander to the liberal female set. More likely they are cowed by women in to accepting the ads.
Run the commercials or face months of ridicule in the press as being anti-women.
