If you remember the Clinton era, there was a shameless hack named Lanny Davis who would say anything to defend the regime. By "shameless", I mean, no personal dignity.

During the "W" era, here comes Medved acting the same way. I used to say, "He's the GOP's Lanny Davis."

Turns out, they were best friends @ Yale and lifelong pals!!!
