There is plenty of use for unsecure SD card storage. I would hope that Google would support SD cards for general data storage only (not application or “critical” data). While data access to the cloud is certainly better these days, it’s nowhere near “perfect”.

As with many of the other tidbits you’ve posted in this thread, this isn’t accurate.

If you’re paranoid about your phone being tapped, you can just put it in a metal box (Faraday cage). Much more convenient than removing and replacing the battery too!

It's also meaningless, since ever since Apple debuted the Retina Displays, the pixels have been indistinguishable at any reasonable viewing distance. Granted the Samsung amoled displays have extreme color saturation, which some people like.

There are a ton of other variables, such as whether the silicon real estate could be better spent on other types of hardware acceleration, overall clock speed, memory architecture, cache, amount of throttling and so on.

There's a wide consensus that iOS is superior to Android in many ways. First, there is UI consistency across every app. Samsung phone apps use three different UI toolkits. There is no bloatware/crapware with iOS. There is a wider selection of apps. Finally, Apple is committed to protecting your privacy and data, whereas Google makes it's living exploiting both.

Next, let's compare the current phones (iPhone 6 Plus versus Galaxy S5), instead of speculating on future hardware that may or may not arrive as advertised.

First the iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy S5 head-to-head review

You can read the whole thing on your own time, but here's the bottom line:

Overall winner: iPhone 6 Plus
Having won four rounds to the Galaxy S5's two, the iPhone 6 Plus is the clear winner of this head-to-head review. Featuring a larger screen, better battery life and more future-proof assurance regarding software updates, the iPhone 6 Plus is an excellent smartphone. However, with three rounds having resulted in draws and the Galaxy S5 offering a higher maximum storage cap than the iPhone 6 Plus, and costing a full £40 less, it was still a closely contested battle.

That review didn't do any detailed performance testing, so here's a iPhone 6 Plus vs. Galaxy S5 performance review from Tom's Hardware.

Here's the summary:

That's a quick look at how the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus compared to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 5s. The S5 displays more of the color gamut, but Apple's smartphones are by and large much brighter. In general, Apple's newest handhelds also outperform the S5 on many tests, making them the more powerful devices.

One one particularly telling 3D test, GFXBench Manhattan, the iPhone 6 Plus scored just under three times as fast. Interestingly, the S5 performance was definitely impacted by the number of pixels the GPU has to push. We'll see how much the S6 closes the gap, considering its extremely (and unnecessarily) hi-res display. ;-)
