I’ve been to several ‘Church of God’ denominated churches, and about half of them were a bunch of nuts. They would get all riled up and do these weird dances and speak some sort of unintelligible nonsense, claiming that God was “speaking through them”. I was a kid at the time, got scared, and ran out.
I’ll say, that’s pretty impressive, given how they apparently weren’t on drugs or anything. Wish I could do that!

However the true Church of God I was speaking of was not in a building, it was there on the road side, of people helping people the way Jesus told us to do.
