Nope. Water boils at different temps depending on the elevation and atmospheric pressure. Less pressure less boiling temp.................

I’ve often wondered just how you would measure ‘absolute zero’ temperature if even the atoms collapse at that temperature. Wouldn’t your probe’s atoms fall apart as well?...........;^)

Yes, I know that, that’s why pulling a partial vacuum would enable boiling at a lower temp. :-)

It’s not that the atoms fall apart, but all molecular motion stops (the protons stop orbiting the nuclei and all atomic vibration ceases). It’s a purely theoretical number anyway, only used as a “zero point” (get it?) for equations.
